Overview
Large sporting events bring together tens of thousands of fans, extensive camera networks and fast-moving situations. Monitoring this activity manually can make it difficult for security teams to identify relevant incidents and coordinate responses in time.
We deployed an AI-powered stadium intelligence system that analysed multiple camera feeds using facial recognition and AI-based detection. Automated alerts helped surface relevant events for security teams, while QR-enabled WhatsApp and web channels gave fans a direct way to report concerns and lost items.
The deployment combined surveillance intelligence with a digital reporting and recovery workflow, supporting both stadium operations and the fan experience.
The challenge
Hundreds of cameras. Thousands of moving people. Incidents that need attention.
The stadium needed a way to improve visibility across its camera network and help teams identify relevant activity without relying entirely on manual monitoring.
The system also needed to make it easier for fans to report concerns and recover lost belongings, rather than treating security as a camera-monitoring problem alone.
The solution
One intelligence layer for surveillance and fan reporting.
What changed
Beyond camera monitoring
The deployment brought AI-based surveillance and digital incident reporting into the same operational context. Security teams gained a way to surface relevant activity across camera feeds, while fans had dedicated channels to report concerns and lost belongings.
Together, these capabilities supported a broader approach to stadium intelligence - combining monitoring, incident awareness and fan-facing services.
