Overview
Adopting AI across an enterprise requires more than selecting technologies or launching isolated initiatives. Organisations need to understand their current capabilities, identify readiness gaps and determine where AI can create meaningful business value.
We worked with an aviation company to assess its AI readiness, benchmark organisational maturity and develop tailored recommendations for adoption. The engagement also included an AI workshop for 20 business function heads, helping business leaders build their understanding of AI and its potential applications. The work culminated in an enterprise-wide AI adoption roadmap, giving the organisation a structured starting point for its AI journey.
The challenge
Everyone wanted AI. The harder question was where to start.
The organisation needed a clearer picture of its AI maturity before moving forward with adoption. Without a structured assessment, it was difficult to understand existing capability gaps, determine priorities and translate broad interest in AI into a coordinated plan.
The goal was to establish a grounded view of organisational readiness and give business leaders a clearer direction for adoption.
The solution
An AI readiness assessment connected to practical adoption planning.
We approached the engagement through three key activities:
Together, these activities connected the assessment of current capabilities with the planning needed to move towards AI adoption.
What changed
The engagement delivered three key outcomes:
- Organisational AI maturity benchmarked, establishing a clearer understanding of readiness and gaps.
A more structured approach to AI adoption
By starting with organisational readiness rather than technology alone, the engagement gave the organisation a more informed foundation for AI adoption. The resulting roadmap connected maturity assessment, identified gaps and tailored recommendations into a coordinated direction for future initiatives.
